Female Cop Demoted After Sending Naked Pics To Low-Ranking Officers

A female cop who sent sex videos and pictures of herself in uniform to her lower-ranking officer lover has been demoted.

Diana Lopez, who was in a relationship with the manat the time, used her personal cell phone to send the sexual content.

The public information officer for Tuscon Police Department was demoted from the rank of lieutenant to sergeant after an investigation.

The probe was initially sparked by anonymous letters to her department in August 2012, reports the Arizona Daily Star.

Police said her actions had violated several department regulations, its code of ethics and professional standards.

Assistant Chief Kathleen Robinson wrote:

"Lopez used extremely poor judgment in sending these images undermining her credibility as a commander.

"Her actions have negatively affected not only her reputation, but the reputation and mission of the Tucson Police Department."
Police said Lopez's boyfriend, who has never been identified, showed the content to other officers between May and August 2011.

The investigation revealed that 13 people saw the footage, but the racy clips were never uncovered. Lopez also admitted to kissing an individual in a station locker room.

Lopez, who is now working in the operations division, is believed to be considering a civil lawsuit against the city.

Her attorney, Michael Piccarreta, said the case brought up "constitutional issues over lawful off-duty behavior and violation of privacy."

How wack is it she tried to give her boo something good to look at and he played her out like that. We hope she dumped the loser! Well, at least she still has a job right???

George Lucas Files for Permission to Sell $2 Billion in Disney Shares

George Lucas might not intend on keeping all of his huge chunk of Disney stock very long, judging from a regulatory filing signaling his right to sell more than 37 million shares -- amounting to all the stock he received when he sold Lucasfilm to Disney for $4 billion last year. Disney filed the Form S-3 Registration Statement on Wednesday, and a spokeswoman characterized it as a required formalization of Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm. According to the filing, The George W. Lucas, Jr. Fourth Amended and Restated Living Trustcould sell 37,076,679 million shares of Disney -- amounting to about 2.1 percent of the company --"from time to time" until the trust no longer holds any of the stock.

The sale of stock could occur via "ordinary brokeragetransactions or through any other means described in this prospectus," the filing says.

At Disney's closing price of $54.52 Wednesday, the shares held by Lucas are worth $2.02 billion.

Despite the filing, a spokesperson from Lucasfilm says Lucas may not be selling anytime soon.

"George does not currently have any plans to sell hisDisney stock," said LucasFilm's Lynne Hale . "This was a registration of ownership of stock in conjunction with the sale of Lucasfilm to Disney. It was a required filing."

Wizkid Vs EME Records (Full Gist)

We have a good case to underscore the message of being cautious and reading the dotted line before you sign any legal agreement with a record label.

It is the recent case/debacle currently unfolding between one of Nigeria's respected record labels Empire Mates Entertainment and its artist, Wizkid. Before we get into the Wizkid facts, be advised that there is a blue print that we can follow…

Our example comes from the recent $6million Interscope record contract deal signed by seventeen (17) year old artist Chief Keef. Interscope is a California based company. The deal terms have been made available to the public in a Cook County Chancery Court filing in Chicago thanks to the fact that Keef is a minor.

In California, when an employer hires a minor (persons under 18) in the entertainment industry, a court approval is required. The statute (law) is called the Coogan Act. The act also requires that an employer set aside 15% of the gross earnings earned by the minor, into a trust fund, which is managed/controlled by the minor's trustee until he/she becomes of age.

Chief Keef's Interscope Record Deal
1. Chief Keef signed a 3 album-record contract deal
2. Chief Keef also has a separate three year contract to establish and control his own record label, 'Glory Boyz Entertainment' (GBE), which would be a subsidiary of Interscope Records. Thissecond deal could, according to court records, fetch him $6million.
3. For his GBE Deal, Interscope paid Keef a$440,000 advance. His manager also receives a$180,000 advance payment. Chief Keef and his manager each own 40% of the GBE and the other20% is split between Keef's GBE artist, his uncle and another individual.
4. The GBE contract requires that interscope pay$200,000 in overhead expenses i.e. the costs associated with running the label GBE.
5. For the GBE label, GBE and Interscope would split profits equally. Interscope, however, can terminate the GBE deal if losses exceed$4.5million.
6. Independent of the above, Interscope has agreed to pay Chief Keef an advance fee of$440,000. 15% of the aforementioned advance, because he is a minor, must be deposited into a trust fund aka "blocked trust" where it will be controlled by his grand mother until he turns 18.
7. Interscope also provided $300,000 advance (recording costs) for Chief Keef's recording of his album "Finally Rich."
8. Chief Keef's direct record deal with Interscope is conditioned on the success of his album. If Chief Keef does not sell 250,000 units of his album by the end of December 2013, then Interscope can decide not to release his subsequent albums and compilation.

Chief Keef has other legal problems namely criminal action against him. He is currently locked up in a Juvenile detention center (jail for young people) and he has been sued by a woman in family court for child support. His extra legal shenanigans, however, exceed the scope of this article. We are focused, for all intended purposes, on actions that put monies inour pockets, not the ones that steal our freedom and have us involved in baby mama drama. So, let's get on with it and look at Nigeria's Wizkid and his deal with the Nigerian based record labelEME.

Wizkid's EME Record Deal

NOTE: Unlike Keef's, the terms of the Wizkid EMEdeal are alleged. It is based on insider talks and news stories that have flooded the internet within the past year alone. It may or may not be true. For our informative and educational purpose, however, it is irrelevant whether the facts are true. In fact, I am treating these facts ashypothetical facts, except where noted as true, to drive home the underlying point on the need to read your contract before you sign it, to avoid legal pitfalls like those that may find themselves under the same alleged factual situation like Wizkid.

Keep this in mind as you read my analysis.

1. Wizkid is a Nigerian citizen (true fact)

2. Wizkid is a self proclaimed "studio rat." As early as 11 years old, he was already singing.

3. By 2006, he got his break with Nigeria's famedartist OJB (true fact)

4. In 2009, at 19years old, Wizkid got an even bigger break when he began working with Nigerian-American R &B super star Banky W's Empire Mates Entertainment Record label. (True fact)

5. Wizkid already put a lot of the hard work on the talent side before he met EME. From 2009 onwards, EME focused on the branding, artist development, marketing and promotions of Wizkid. (True fact)

6. Within and outside of Nigeria, there was NO LEGAL CONTRACT signed between EME and Wizkid. (Alleged)

7. About March 2012, when fans and the public screamed in excitement about the EME Wizkid UK Tour, Wizkid still did not have a legal contract. However, as a condition to perform in the UK and to get visas granted, the hosting country (UK) required a record contract evidencing Wizkid was signed to EME. EME, in a rush, put a contract together for Wizkid. (Alleged)

8. The EME-Wizkid contract (the first signing of a record deal) had a term requiring a
7 album deal. They promised this contract will beamended to the "real contract" later. (Alleged)

9. Wizkid signed the 7 Album contract, without reading the terms. (Alleged)
10. Prior to the signing, monies were split between the two in a 50/50 way i.e. monies made from concerts/ tours were split evenly. (Alleged)

11. In April of 2012, EME announced a joint deal, in a press statement, with Akon's Konvict. EME claimed Akon would "produce and release Wizkidworldwide" while EME managed Wizkid in Nigeria. (True Fact)

12. Before we could blink, all of a sudden, Wizkid signed a management deal with Tinie Tempah in the UK. Really? (True Fact)

13. Banky W & EME allegedly never negotiated or agreed to such a deal. Wizkid directly negotiated and signed with Tinie Tempah. (Alleged)

14. Wizkid fronts his own label "Star Boy" under the blessings and umbrella of the EME label. (Alleged)

15. As it stands, the relationship between the EME crew and Wizkid has deteriorated to the point where Wizkid no longer speaks to membersof the EME team, including Banky W. All correspondences are filtered through his new manager Godwin Tom (Alleged).

16. Wizkid wants more money and he wants out i.e. reduce the 7 Album deal. He feels slighted because EME promised they would sign a new contract with him and now they want to hold his feet to the fire on their 7 album contract. (Alleged)

If you find yourself stuck in such position based on the alleged facts like Wizkid, what do you do?

Pastor Okotie is Sleeping with My Woman - Security Guard

An interview with a security guard who worked for Chris Okotie and also accused him of stealing his woman. Read Interview below.

When did you join Rev. Chris Okotie's Household as a member? When did you work there and for how long? How were you sacked?

I joined Household in 2006. I was interviewed by pastor, got the job in 2009 and was sacked in 2010.

What were you employed as?

Security Guard

We learnt you were in a relationship with a lady, stephnora Nwamaka Boniface, also a former staff of Okotie
That's true. She remains the mother of my only child.

What was Nora (Amaka) employed as before she left the job

She was working at the campaign house with other ladies there reporting to him directly.

What does she do now?

She is a modeling agent, they say.

What's your baby's name, sex and age?

Isabella Adejo

How old?

My beloved daughter is two years and six months. She was born in Dafe Hospital in Ketu September 2010. I had to delete everything about Nora from my life. She almost ruined my life. I'm just trying to start again. I want to be seeing my child. That's all I want no.

How did you meet Nora?

I met her in a café where she was working as a café attendant

Where and when?

That was in Ketu, in 2006. WE went our ways in 2010 after she met "Baba Olowo"

Who is that, please?

Rev. Chris Okotie

How old is your woman?

She is 27, by July 9 she will be 28

What made you suspect she was dating Rev. Okotie?

We fight and quarrel often. She is pretty and wants to keep appointment with too many men against my wish. She goes to him (OKotie) every now and then, frequent calls from him. He usually asks her to buy clothes, meet him in his church office to test and see how the clothes fits her.

She will come and be discussing how Okotie has bed in his Church Office and a whole lot of things, bros e too much. My eyes opened when he instructed that I shouldn't live with the mother of my child, a lady I have spent almost all my life with because he rented a two-bedroom apartment for her and my child.

If I had not taken her to Household of God, would Okotie have come to collect her from my one room that we were living before?

Paul Rudd Stripped In Cinema

Paul Rudd once took off all his clothes and ran around a movie theatre because he "thought it would be funny".

The actor believes people get a different perception of a movie if they view it on their own as opposed to in a packed theatre.
The 43-year old comedian stars in movie This Is 40, and while promoting the film explained he once engaged in some unusual behaviour when he thought he was alone in a cinema.

"This happened to me once and I think you view a movie differently [when you're the only person in the theatre]," Rudd shared with BBC Radio One's Breakfast Show.

"Once I walked in and me and my friend were the only people there, we felt weird for sitting next to each other. Even if there's one other person who comes in, it's not weird, but if it's just you and your friend, you feel a little uncomfortable.

"Once we started running up and down the aisles and doing crazy dancing when we were the only ones in the theatre... then on one occasion I thought it would be funny to take off all my clothes and run around the theatre naked... then I realised there was a guy in the projection room watching me and laughing the whole time."

This Is 40 is a sequel to 2007's film Knocked Up, but this time focusing on Rudd and Leslie Mann's characters Pete and Debbie.
Rudd joked that shooting the Judd Apatow-directed picture wasn't as demanding as making an epic movie like Lincoln, especially as he isn't too far removed from Pete.

"It took two-and-a-half to three months to finish shooting this one. It's not like I'm playing Lincoln, I'm not Daniel Day-Lewis wearing the clothes for 24 hours a day. Even though it's a character it's not an amazing transformation. It's not a struggle to play," Rudd laughed.

"I don't get too bummed out about working every day, it's still pretty cool. I just finished a play a few months ago, now that's tough. Eight shows a week - that's more demanding than a movie. Sometimes I don't like doing that at all, the days you think, 'Oh I have to go in,' and that sucks."

Layoffs Coming to DreamWorks Animation

An unspecified reduction in staff is planned in the wake of an expected write-down on the November release "Rise of the Guardians."

DreamWorks Animation will lay off staff in the wake of the weaker-than-expected performance of the studio's Rise of the Guardians and its announcementTuesday that it will release two films in 2013 rather than three , sources tell gistbank.blogspot.com

The layoffs, which have been rumored for weeks, areexpected to hit the Glendale-based animation studio's production, technology and overhead functions. Sources say no single film project in development will be targeted, though DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg said in a statement Tuesday that the Kate Hudson - Josh Gad -voiced Me & My Shadow , which had been slatedfor release by Fox in March 2014, is being taken off the schedule indefinitely. Mr. Peabody & Sherman , which was set for a Nov. 1 release, will now shift to the March 7, 2014 slot.

"The move of Mr. Peabody & Sherman means that we will now release two films in 2013, and we are adjusting our operating infrastructure costs accordingly," Katzenberg said in a statement.

A DreamWorks Animation spokesperson declined to comment on whether layoffs will happen. But sources say plans for an unspecified reduction of thecompany's 2,000 or so employees already are afoot and should begin before the publicly-traded studio reports earnings on Feb. 26.

Guardians , released in the U.S. in November, grossed nearly $300 million worldwide in theaters but was considered a box office disappointment due to its high production and marketing costs. Lazard Capital Markets analyst Barton Crockett predicted in January that the studio will be forced to write down as much as $96 million in Guardians losses. DWA stock consequently has been pummelled by investors.

The trouble comes as DWA in August entered a five-year distribution deal with Fox, which will release its films globally beginning with The Croods on March 22. Turbo will follow on July 19, then Mr. Peabody & Sherman , How to Train Your Dragon 2 on June 20, 2014 and Happy Smekday! on Nov. 26, 2014.

Chris Pratt Nearing Deal to Star in 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

James Gunn is directing the sci-fi movie project, which is part of Marvel's Phase Two line of films.

Chris Pratt is in negotiations to star in Guardians ofthe Galaxy , Marvel's sci-fi adventure movie being directed by James Gunn , The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The movie centers on Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, a U.S. pilot who ends up in space in the middle of a universal conflict and goes on the run with futuristic ex-cons who have something everyone want, according to the plot description.

And while there have been several incarnations of the Guardians team in the comics since their debut in 1969, the movie's lineup also will include Drax theDestroyer, a human resurrected as a green warrior with the sole purpose of killing Thanos (the villain in the final-scene tease of The Avengers ); Groot, a giant tree-man; Rocket Raccoon, a genetically engineered animal with a knack for guns and explosives; and Gamora, the last survivor of her species who was saved by Thanos to be his assassin but now battles him.

Pratt will play Quill, the human face of the pic, as long as deal can be worked out that can accommodate his dates for NBC's comedy Parks andRecreation . Sources say the negotiations are in the latter stages.

Marvel has been on the lookout for the movie's lead since late last year. Joseph Gordon-Levitt had the offer at one point, while Jim Sturgess , Zachary Levi , John Krasinski, and Michael Rosenbaum are among those also met and/or tested.

The next character that seems to be narrowing downits list is that of Drax the Destroyer. WWE performer-athlete Dave Bautista , Isaiah Mustafa (best known as "the Old Spice Guy") and Brian Patrick Wade have been said to be in talks.

The movie is slated for release Aug. 1, 2014.
Pratt showed he is more than just a funny guy with appearances in Zero Dark Thirty and Moneyball.

John Travolta's Cruise Ship Case Dropped

Actor said it was a "fabrication" that he disrobed and forcefully embraced another man.

The attorneys for John Travolta and a cruise ship worker accusing the actor of assault stipulated to the dismissal of a high-profile lawsuit.

The lawsuit was filed by Fabian Zanzi , a ship attendant on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship that carried Travolta as a passenger in June 2009. Zanzi says that upon request, he gave Travolta a neck massage. Travolta allegedly disrobed, exposed himself and then "forcefully embraced" him.

On Friday, a judge denied Travolta's attempt to throw it into arbitration. On Monday, the parties agreed to drop the case. Neither party was available to discuss what prompted the dismissal.

In the lawsuit, Travolta gave his own sworn declaration.

"While I was indeed a passenger aboard the MS Enchantment of the Seas in or about June 2009, Mr. Zanzi's allegations in the Complaint are entirely false, including... a purported physical encounter with me and his allegations... regarding an alleged financial offer I made him. None of these events happened, and Z
anzi's allegations are pure fabrication."
In preparing to defend the lawsuit, Travolta's attorney Marty Singer threatened to go after Zanzi for malicious prosecution.
In December, a motion was also made to get Zanzi to put up a bond of $75,000 if he wished to continuegiven what Travolta's attorney said was the possibility that a judge would later award Travolta's attorney's fees and the "reasonable possibility" that Travolta would defeat the claims of the plaintiff, a resident of Chile.
The dismissal figures to save some unwelcome pressas well as some airfare. In the case, Travolta's lawyers said they would have to travel to at least three foreign countries to conduct depositions. Now, the case of an alleged massage gone bad on the high seas is over.

Jennifer Eliogu Denies Marriage Crash: Why I Left My Husband Abroad & Relocate To Nigeria

Jennifer Eliogu is one actress who has made a mark for herself. She relocated abroad a few years back to be with her husband, a union which produced a boy and girl. Back as a movie producer and singer, the actress, in this interview with DUPE AYINLA-OLASUKANMI, talksabout her NGO, reasons for going into music, her decision to return home, among other issues .

LET'S talk about your new movie. It is called Within and it was shot in 2011. It was premiered in Lagos Oriental Hotel, Sheraton Abuja and Grand Hotel Asaba. We also took it to the US where we entered for a competition called Movie Awards; we were nominated but we didn't win. We then entered for another one in the UK JEFTA Awards, and got the Best Child Actor award 2011.

Last year, it was released in the US and we keptdoing promotions. We went to South Africa and eventually back to Nigeria where it was released on DVD on the 21st of this month. Also at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Abeokuta, we have agreement to show the movie for two weekend; ;that is last weekend and this one, so we obliged them. So far it is going well and I am glad that the movie has been released.

So far, how has the response been?

The response since the release has been amazing and I am happy about it. I hope it continues like that. I wrote and produced the story myself when I had nothing doing. Then I was nursing a baby. It has turned out to be a blessing.

What was the motive behind the script?

I feel we should create a balance in the stories we write, not only movies that adult could watch, but one that families can sit down to watch and enjoy togetherand children would learn from; to create a balance between the very good and bad. We will be going on set very soon for another one.

Now that you are so busy with production, how do you manage family and work?

There is so much to be done, taking care of the children, taking care of my family as a whole and then my movie and music. I just released a single into the market and so far it has been amazing. It is coverage of an old song of Celestial Okonkwo redone by me witha bit of R&B and highlife.

It is not just me, but the passion for what I wantto do and taking care of my family. I create timeto write my scripts. Being that I do not go to location all the time, I have time to write other stories and songs. I create time to go to the studio too. But everything I put my mind to do, I do it to the best, to the glory of God.

Tell us about your music

It is a 12-track album and will be released before the end of the year. We are coming out with a single in a week or two while trying to shoot the videos. I have come to do music professionally now. We want to promote two or three singles and shoot videos first.

When did you discover you have a passion for music?

I have always said that music was my first love but acting found me first so I gave it my best. Now I am back to my baby which is music.

How do you intend to meet up with the competition on the music scene?

To me music is not competition but ambition. I am living my dream and doing what I want to do. And my kind of song, I don't exactly do hip-hop. I write and sing songs that go with my personality. I do inspirational, love songs, high life and jazz. I might add a little bit of hip-hop maybe at one time, but that is if it works. I am more of a soul singer.

So you get to love my songs for what they are. Ido not want to sing what is commercial. I know we need to make money but guess there are still people out there doing so well. I intend to make a whole lot of money from it. My music is not for now, it is a generational thing. I want people to listen to my music ten years from now and remember me for good music. Listen to Sonia Spence and Onyeka Owenu, how many years over? We still play their songs.

I write strong lyrics, and in my songs I like to do a bit of entertainment with exposure to societal illness. The same thing I am doing with my songs is what I am doing with my movies. Reggae is almost extinct in Nigeria, but guess what, I can tell you that with that singular song, reggae will come alive again. I am not exactly a reggae artiste, but I love reggae and it is for all ages.

Did you take permission before redoing the deceased's song?
Yes. The people who run his estate, Premier Records, and then COSON cover the record label; so I wrote to both parties. I am a law-abiding citizen. I spoke to the president of Premier Records too and I gave them a letter too. Unlike people who just pick up people's works and feel that because it is an old song or probably because the person is dead, 'I can do the song.' It is someone else's intellectual property.

We have actors who have tried their hands on music but didn't succeed. Do you think yours will be different?

As I said earlier, I have come to do music professionally. I am not leaving music for acting, I am doing entertainment in totality which I believe I have agift for. The bible says your gift will make way for you, so I am going to stick with my kind of songs, be myselfand do what I know how to do best. I am not going to try to be someone else and then lose focus.

I know a lot of actors in Nollywood have tried music but everybody has the right to experiment. If you think you have passion for music; give it a try, because it is worse when you are scared of what people will say . I know I have what it takes; I have the voice. I know I might nothave that voice of Whitney Houston, but I am comfortable with my kind of songs.

What were you doing at the time you took a break?

At that time, I made two beautiful children; a daughterand a son.

Currently, are you fully into production only?

I am doing both acting and producing. I produce every movie I act in it too. If I do not fit in, I won't force it. I will let other people handle it. Presently I have a job I am co-writing with someone. I have done a couple of songs in the past one year.

When you are not working, what do you do?

Because I am restless, I get bored easily when I am notworking or when I am on location. Asides helping the children with their assignments, having family time and all that, in my spare time, I write scripts. When I am not, I try to pick up a bit of things that I put up for sale. I just like to be positively productive.
Why did you relocate at the time you did?
I got married and my husband happens to live abroad and like I said, have kids too.

Why did you decide to return home?

There is no place like home. I can say life is easier there because they have a system that works. Their amenities work but the truth is, you work and put the money back. Back home in Nigeria, it is easy to fit in because I already had a career before I left.
It was easy coming back to what I know how to do; having to spend a longer time going back toschool and trying to get a job. I had to take the former over the latter. I have my papers and I can travel whenever I want to. It is not easy breaking into the movie industry abroad. But because home is home, somehow you will get that break.

Why was it hard for you to make the break over there?

Nigeria is Nigeria, abroad is abroad. If it was that easy a whole lot of Nigerians will be working abroad. For rehearsals, the money they pay you is much more than the money you earn here for a lead role. It is not easy anywhere to break into the movie industry. So rather than just sit there and keep trying and trying, you just get frustrated. Even if I do any other job, it will not be one I have passion for. I might be making money but there is a part of me that is not happy. But I will stick to my job, which is entertainment.

How did your husband take it when you informed him about relocating again?

That is a discussion that we had had over time. We looked at the option and what was going on. It was notas if I could not get a job, sometimes you cut some slack if it will make the other person happy. Even when I was there, I kept writing. I just had a baby and Iwas not working. The three scripts I have were written at that time. I am glad that happened because after a while, we just felt that we could do it and since we have access to going and coming back. It is working out.

Are you here now with your husband and kids?

The kids are here with me, but he is over there. He hasa job there, so during holidays we can travel.
How are the kids coping with the change?
Before we relocated, we had been home like twice and I have a huge family as well. Once in a while everybody comes around to visit and If I want to travelabroad for business, my mum comes to stay with my children. If they are on holiday, I take them to my parents while I do what I have to do.

How was coming back to the movie world after the break?

As at the time I came back finally, because I rememberthat in between the time I shot like three movies, it was a different ball game. We had a whole lot of youngactresses, which made it interesting because at some point, you have to give room to the younger ones to showcase their talents.
What beat me was that we had a whole lot of half-baked stories being tendered. Everyone was goinginto movie production and every young girl wanted to be a star at whatever cost. At one point we were losing direction, movies were being recycled.

What is different now?

Because there is fund and somebody is willing to bankroll, we shoot movies that promote negativity much more than positivity. For me I felt I would do a couple of good works. I did a work for Emem Isong, it was a beautiful story and I shot another one in Benin on Igbinedion's biography.
So I said to myself, since it is like this, why don't I do something on my own since I already wrote a couple ofscripts? Why don't I give it a try and see how it goes? Really, it was a good decision that I took. Not only was I able to show a story that will promote family, child education and finding love, I was able to be an employer of labour myself. I employed not less than 10 hands who have not tried their hands on acting or crew work before and we all worked like a family. They are all willing to go on location again. Somehow it is asa way of giving back to the society. Apart from the factthat I have an NGO called IFDEAS.

When did you start the initiative?

It started in 2008, but was officially launched in 2010. We lend helping hands by giving money and food to the physically challenged on the street. We give to 500 people on the streets at the beginning and end of the year. We also go to the women's prison, pray with them and give them toiletries. We also go to the motherless baby homes and then we organise seminars and development programmes for youths. We have done that twice and we are planning another one this year. Slowly but surely you are giving back to the society whichever way you can.

How do you get your funds to keep the NGO moving?

I do not have any sponsors, so when I am working, I put aside some money if I have that project in mind. For instance, if I get a N500, 000 job, I know N50, 000 goes to that. We have another youth development programme, I don't call it empowerment, because theyexpect you to share money. But if you give money to aperson with the wrong mind set, he will spend that money on frivolities. We need to educate ourselves on the need to be useful to ourselves, because we keep expecting the government to do everything. And if youare useful to yourself no body can influence you because you know what you want.

How have you been able to maintain your figureafter child bearing?

I have to be very honest with you; I have been battlingwith my weight. There is nothing I do to it. It is just that when I see that it is getting out of hand, I cut down on my carbohydrate, and I begin to walk, and do a bit of exercise. I stop eating after seven pm.

Will Smith Reveals Why Willow Pulled Out Of Annie

If you were in Philly this past weekend and didn't stop by Temple University for " Real Talk with Sister Souljah and Will Smith," you definitely missed out. Will Smith joined Sister Souljah on stage as she promoted her new book, "A Deeper Love Inside: The Porsche Santiaga Story," and the two brought their raw, honest truth to the table as they talked candidly about love and relationships, as well as thesacrifices it takes to keep marriages together. It was truly amazing how transparent and honest Will was as he talked about his life, his family and his marriage, and there were so many priceless gems that were dropped throughout the program that could help others seek long-lasting relationships and marriages.

One thing that was very interesting was Will's perspective on his kids. He revealed that he had to learn over time to be more aware of their emotional needs and their own dreams versus the dreams that he may have had for his kids. Last week, news broke that Willow Smith would no longer play the lead role in the high-profile remake of "Annie," because she had become too old to play the part, but according to Will, that wasn't exactly the real story. Willow wasn't really interested in playing the part anymore because she wanted to focus on being a normal 12-year-old.

He said:

In the past 18 months, I have spent a lot of time focusing on the emotional aspect of my life and my family. In 2010, in one year, our family had the 'Karate Kid.' we had 'Whip my Hair,' we had Hawthorne, and at the end of the year, we did the Nobel Concert when Barack Obama won his Nobel Peace Prize. Don't be clapping yet, that wears you out.

The thing that had become very clear to me is the danger of a material world and focusing so hard on coming up with money or a house or ajob. You focus so hard on those things, and sometimes you can lose focus on why you are doing it in the first place. The only reason to do any of that is to have love.

Willow was supposed to be doing 'Annie,' we got Jay-Z to do the movie, got the studio to come in and Willow had such a difficult time on tour with 'Whip my Hair' and she said, 'Youknow Daddy, I don't think so' and I said, 'Baby, hold up! I said no,no,no, listen, you'll be in New York with all of your friends and Beyoncé will be there. You will be singing and dancing,' and she looked at me and said, 'Daddy, I have a better idea, how about I just be 12.'

I'm really learning through Willow the necessity that we have to snap ourselves backand refocus on the emotional needs of the people that we love. Someone's emotional needs can be very very different from your dreams and what you think they should be doing and where they are supposed to be.

What I took away from that was, when you are a parent who has a super talented kid, you will naturally want to push them to the limit of their abilities so that the world can see their talents. Sometimes you may have to take a step back and ask, "Is this my child's dream or is this my dream formy child?" I believe every parent may go through this at some point.

Unfortunately, it wasn't Willow's dream. It could have been something that she thought she wanted to do, but after being thrust into the spotlight and seeing the actual work she had to put in, she realized that she liked life far better when she was a normal 12-year-old.

T.I. And Tiny Have A Sex Tape

Can you imagine watching T.I. and Tiny getting down in a sex tape?

Last night, while the two were spotted hitting up the premiere of "Identity Theft", Tiny's new show Tiny Tonight debuted with a special Valentine's Day special. And Tiny didn't hold back as she talked about how she and T.I. could get tons of money if they ever had a chance to sell their homemade sex tape. According to Tiny, they've made a tape that was so nasty that even she could never watch it again.

[It was] real nasty. [ Claudia: On a scale of one to ten?] Fifteen. They were nasty. They were outside and everything. It was ridiculous. I had fun and the police got it [when they raided our house] and they probably had fun with it too.[...]I just wanted to see if it looks as good as it really is. Our sextape was like…we could probably get ten million.

Get it in then.

They've been together long enough to show a few couples some bedroom tricks.

Alicia Keys Called “Disrespectful”For Sitting While Singing the National Anthem

Folks just will not let a sista sing the National Anthem in peace…

Even though she sang the National Anthem and played the piano while doing it, Alicia Keys is the second person in just a few weeks to go through some scandal over the Star-Spangled Banner. Usually we stand as the Anthem is being sung, but obviously because she was playing a white grand piano, Alicia sat down the entire time and some people are saying that this was a sign of disrespect. Now, the video of Alicia singing has been blocked by the NFL, and some are saying it's because they don't want to hear any negativity about her sitting through the song.

An unnamed morning show producer told the Huffington Post :

"It was disrespectful. They had enough time and manpower to think of this before the performance. They could have had her stand at her piano keyboard and sing. To me and a lot of my friends, she sounded great but the visual was wrong."

Meanwhile, a publicist who has worked closely with Alicia says this is all ridiculous:

"Alicia is a proud American and was honored to perform at the event.. Her slow version of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' was her own arrangement, accompanying herself on the piano, adding 'living in the home of the brave'at the end of the song. It's silly to see how that was being disrespectful."

As of now, the NFL says that they blocked the video of the performance due to copyright issues. Although the song is public domain, because Alicia changed and copyrighted the arrangement she used for the Super Bowl, they have to wait before posting it on NFL.com.

The league says they plan on uploading the video soon.

Big deal or no?

Tony Parker Using Chris Breezy’s Brawl With Frank Ocean As Evidence In Nightclub Lawsuit

Chris Brown's volcanic temper — in particular his recent blowup with Frank Ocean — has ironically become NBA star Tony Parker's secret weapon in a lawsuit against a New York City nightclub … TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story … Parker has filed a $20 million lawsuit against W.i.P. nightclub, claiming it should never have let Brown in last June — the night his posse fought with Drake's people … a fight that ended with a shard of glass piercing Tony's cornea.

Tony has just filed new legal docs in his lawsuit, claiming Chris Brown's parking-spot fiasco last weekwith Frank Ocean is proof he's unfit to socialize in places where he's likely to fly off the handle.

You'll recall … the fight between team Brown and team Drake at W.i.P. erupted because both men were romantically linked to Rihanna.

And speaking of Rihanna … Tony's new legal docs make reference to her brutal beating … at the hands of one Chris Brown.

Tony believes there was more than enough evidenceon the table to deny Chris a table at W.i.P. on the violent night in question.

Tony might be reaching a lil' bit. We get that Chris has issues, but what club is REALLY gonna deny him entry if he wants to come in and spend money with them?

Good luck gettin' that gwap playa.

Actress, Susan Peters Lambasts Bloggers

Multiple award winning Actress, Susan Peters was not a happy woman recently when she descended heavily on some bloggers who use their blogs to disparage the image of Nigerian celebrities .

The actress vented her anger while speaking to newsmen during the week.

According to her, Instead of using their blogs to celebrate the achievements of these celebrities, the bloggers are busy peddling negative stories about them. For the Idoma, Benue State born actress, these negative stories never do any good to the individual celebrities.

Susan's comment however, was not unconnected with the ugly experience she had few years ago when she engaged in a bitter war of words with a certain ace blogger who posted a picture of the actress posing with her new black berry porche on her blog.

Many of her fans who visited the blog rained abuses on the actress, calling her names, for posing with a 'mere Blackberry phone'. The issue did not go down well with the actress who in return lambasted the blogger, as she later apologised to her.

Also, the actress experienced a situation where an unknown person impersonated her by sending disturbing and insulting messages via a popular blog.

The impersonator reportedly replied to issues posted onthe blog in an insulting way and left the name and twitter address of the actress who people were very quick to attack after reading the reply posted in her name.

While she's yet to erase memories of that ugly incident from her heart, the actress is more concerned about what will help to boost the image of the celebrities, andnot drag it in the mud.

Nigerian Soccer Fan Dies Watching Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire Match

A missed shot from Victor Moses triggered the 'heart attack' of the Abeokuta based man.

The tension soaked quarter-final match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Elephants of Cote d' Ivoire on Sunday claimed the life a football fan in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.

A 40-year-old soccer fan suddenly slumped as hewatched the match with other spectators at the Promise Viewing Centre in Oke-Sokori area of thetown.

The victim was identified as Moshood Owolabi. He worked as an Engineer with the Federal Road Maintenance Agency, FERMA, Federal Ministry of Worksin Abeokuta.

He was said to have been immediately rushed to a nearby clinic, Success Medical Clinic, where he was given first aid before being referred to another hospital,First Alpha.

A witness traced the death to a missed shot fromVictorMoses which was stopped by an Ivorian defender.

Mr. Owolabi gave up the ghost when he was being rushed to First Alpha Hospital located in Kuforiji Olubi area of the town.

Speaking on the development, the Medical Director of Success Medical Clinic, Odede Kolawole, told PREMIUM TIMES that Mr. Owolabi was brought in dead to the clinic and that all efforts to revive him failed.

The Medical Director explained that the incident was as a result of excessive intake of carbon dioxide resulting to what he called anoxia (a totaldepletion in the level of oxygen).

"Immediately the he was brought, he was brought in dead. From what I learnt, I was told bya close friend that he had a fatal accident about two months ago and he was treated and managed.

"It is supposed to be a heart attack, because the way I saw him, he looked weak. He did not look agile and healthy, he looked like someone who had been sick for a very long period of time. He looked like someone who is managing his life and now facing a lot of crowd with shortage of oxygen in that area," the doctor said.

Viewing Centres are a common feature in Nigeriawhere people gather after paying a token, in a usually poorly ventilated room, to watch football matches and other programs. They have becomemore popular during the African Cup of Nations as none of the local television stations are televising the matches of the competition. Only Nigerians with access to satellite TV channel, Supersports, can view the matches. Millions who cannotafford the satellite TV, like Mr. Owolabi, gather at viewing centres to watch the games.

The doctor was not available
In his own account, the deceased's neighbour, who was also at the viewing center when the incident happened,Taiwo Adebayo, said the deceased suffered from a possible cardiac arrest adding that he started foaming when he fell on ground.

He, however, disagreed with the Medial Director of Success Medical Clinic insisting that Mr. Owolabi, was immediately rescued and taken to the clinic alive. He said the doctor was not available on getting to the hospital.

He said the victim later died on the way to another hospital where he was referred.

"We were together when the match started, when Moses played a shot on target and it was deflected off by another opposing player, it was that time that he fellon someone's laps as if he suffered from cardiac arrest and he started foaming.

"I grabbed him immediately and rushed him to the hospital. When we got to Success Hospital, the doctor was not available and the nurses triedgiving him first aid when the doctor was contacted, then he was still breathing," he said.

"When the doctor came, he checked him and immediately referred him to another hospital (First Alpha), on the way going, the gear of the vehicle got damaged and we secured a taxi after some minutes'.

"When we got the hospital, the doctor confirmed him dead. We went to his father at Kugba area inAbeokuta and the man gave a go ahead for his burial," the neighbour added.

Lamenting the loss, Mr. Adebayo described the deceased as a very jovial person who was alwaysnoticed wherever he went.

Shocked wife:

The deceased's widow, Tawakalitu Owolabi, was still in shock when PREMIUM TIMES visited her atthe family's flat in Abeokuta.

The bereaved described the incident as a dream addingthat her late husband was wandering around the area with a close friend few hours before the match started.
